Lake Bonneville Layout Boats |
It’s not my intent nor
did I set out to reinvent the wheel. Rather, my goal – and I
believe my achievement – has been to make the wheel better.
Today,
I have 24 waterfowl seasons under my belt, and I’ve been
blessed with the time and the resources necessary that I
might experience some of the nation’s finest duck hunting –
and this from coast to coast, including the wonderful state
of Alaska. For 18 years, I specifically targeted divers –
redheads, canvasbacks, bluebills, goldeneyes, buffleheads,
and a variety of sea ducks. What I learned from these birds
lead to the creation of our first layout boat, The
Apparition. And what I learned was that in order to be
consistently successful on the water, you need the right
tools.
But before you
start thinking that Lake Bonneville Layout Boats are
just for divers – well, they’re not. Pintails,
mallards, gadwalls, Canada geese, tundra swans; just as a
